We don't know how these people got themselves into such a mess, but this week's video clearly shows people and boats in the wrong place at the wrong time. One sailboat is destroyed by a wave, a rescue powerboat is destroyed by another wave, and without the heroics of a rescue helicopter and the Coast Guard, the people involved might have been destroyed too.
