Polish Volvo 60 Yacht Bank BPH Seeks To Establish New Record

On February 18, 2004, Captain Roman Paszke and his nine crew crossed the virtual line for a fully crewed monohull round the world record attempt. However, as there is no trace of this kind of record with World Sailing Council, Bank BPH yacht would be the first yacht to attempt this. As Volvo 60 yachts have been designed with maximum of 30 days on the water in mind, Bank BPH had undergone major refit in order to accommodate all sails, equipment and food necessary for the round the world trip.
