With 630 sailors from 17 countries, the competition was superb at Miami’s 37th Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta hosted by Coral Reef Yacht Club on December 27-30, 2007. Photos by Tim Wilkes.   Windstorms in the Pacific Northwest can play havoc on the ferry traffic, which is vital in some areas for transportation. On days like this, the lower platform can become a mess as the force of saltwater waves douse and push around the car cargo.   It is not always about sailing, with some images here from San Francisco Fleet Week. Watching Sean Tucker pilot the Oracle Challenger II is an awesome show, particularly when you can listen in to his cockpit microphone. As for raw speed, how about 700mph at 20 feet off the deck.
