From Ed Furry, here was the view from his room on Mackinac Island after he finished the race from Chicago. It is beautiful scenary like this that helps to erase the grueling moments of offshore racing from our memories.

In the Photos of the Week last week, there was an Optimist event with a bunch of RIBs spectating, and we suggested that this cluster of 'Mommy' boats should be replaced with one big boat with nice eats and drinks. Like in this photo.

Jaguar has partnered with TEAMORIGIN, the British America’s Cup sailing team created by Sir Keith Mills. Hmm... the Jaguar sponsored TEAMORIGIN versus the BMW sponsored Oracle Racing team. Not exactly a fair fight.

A belief held in the executive chambers of Scuttlebutt World Headquarters is if you can effectively steer a Cal 25 upwind through waves, you could likely steer just about anything. Here these water buffaloes are seen racing in Long Beach, CA at the 2010 Cal 25 Regional Championship. Photo by Rick Roberts.
