Here is an A-Scow, the king of Scow Country, getting humbled. Click here for more photos.  TeamVodafoneSailing expects to be the fastest sailboat in New Zealand, and one of the fastest in the world. Measuring in at 18m (60 foot), the trimaran is as wide as it is long, and capable of sustaining speeds of 40 knots. The boat’s New Zealand owner and skipper Simon Hull will be seeking sailing records to break.  Aquidneck Custom Composites in Bristol, RI will be launching this 11m trimaran on August 28th, presenting a more balanced design between high performance and cruising comfort.  Hard to tell who's happier in this photo - Coronado Yacht Club sailing coach Jon Rogers or his daughter Maizy - as they race her Naples Sabot in the Dutch Shoe Marathon on San Diego Bay.
