Scuttlebutt Photos of the Week January 14, 2011 Here is a random assortment of photos from the sport. Click here to submit your photos for consideration.   Wing sailing is not limited to catamarans and moths. Hard water sailing is in full swing in the north east, with these wing photos taken at Megunticook Lake in Maine submitted by William Tuthill.  This was explained to us as a wall of water that slammed into a Musto Perforamcne Skiff, and they were sticking to that story.  Hosting the 172 entrants this week at the International Optimist Australian Nationals is a daunting task, but the space needed to accomadate this fleet is a fraction of what a smilarily sized keelboat constest would be. Think about that the next time you are stuck in traffic driving your spacious automobile.  Uh oh, does the Farr 40 class hear footsteps? Is the newly announced Farr 400 looking to take its place? Lauderdale to Key West Race began Wednesday for 40+ boats, taking them on a 160-mile coastal race. Photographer Chris Cameron was on hand to see the prototype AC45 catamaran hulls being moved Thursday from the Warkworth manufacturing facility down to Auckland's Viaduct Basin for assembly.
