Eric Woodman sent in this photo from the 2011 Sunfish Worlds in Curacao last week. We have no information if the marks were filled with helium by mistake.  Josh May took this photo from the Van Isle 360 race held in the Pacific Northwest on June 4-19, 2011.  It ain't racing, but this is just such a really 'fresh' shot of SPIRIT OF BERMUDA taken 650 NM south of Bermuda en route to Turks Islands and the DR on June 8th. Located in Annapolis, MD, Annapolis Performance Sailing (APS) is a world leader in outfitting performance sailors, is celebrating its 20 year anniversary. APS will mark its milestone with a back yard BBQ to be hosted Sunday, July 10th, 2011 at the APS Storefront (104 Severn Avenue, Annapolis, MD) from 12:00pm until 4:00pm.  LILLA, a Briand 76 (Skipper Simon Di Pietro), set the Marion Bermuda Race course record with an elapsed time of 68:58:45 and a corrected time of 71:48:26. Previous course record was 72 hours. With a crew of 12 multinational crew members, they enjoyed quite a romp to the onion patch, making 10’s and 11’s consistently, with top speeds reaching 13.5. Here he rides a helicopter to shoot Esimit Europa as the first boat arriving at the Giraglia Rock during the Giraglia Rolex Cup. The 2011 Giraglia Rolex Cup comprises a series of inshore races in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, followed by a 245nm offshore race via La Giraglia islet off Corsica to Genova in Italy.
