Santa waves after dropping off gifts at Larchmont Yacht Club's childrens Christmas party.     It started off innocently enough in quiet Battery Park City in Lower Manhattan. About 20 Santas gathered in front of Dennis Conner's North Cove marina and the World Financial Center. And from there, the numbers just kept growing! After a thousand or so Santas had gathered, they gave their "Ho! Ho! Ho!" and headed off around the southern tip of North Cove, waving to all the yachts still in the marina. Only in New York City!
