Reminds us of when we were kids, riding the bow pulpit of our parents' boat. Sort of.

This should be an episode for 'Dirty Jobs' on the Discovery Channel.

The top ten boat names were published in Scuttlebutt this week. Tom Priest wasn't sure whether to be bummed or proud that the name of his Mercury was one of them.

Bow guys calling distance to the start line at the J/24 Midwinters this week at Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa, Florida.

Gretchen Dorian: "With all the gear I could put on, my camera encased in a huge ziploc bag and I with my goggles walked out on the ice during this blinding snowstorm. At times, the wind was blowing so hard, that even the “ice cleats” I had on my boots weren’t gripping hard enough, and I could feel myself being pushed on the sections not covered by snow. I found 'The Deuce', stern to the wind, hunkered down and just sitting this one out, calmly, like she has been through this all before. In front of her downwind….her trailer/crane’s flag was held out stiff in the wind."
