Courtesy of cruisingcompass.com, which posted this photo from Lew Sacks (s/v Magic Too) of a double rainbow in Port Superior, WI after a storm blew through.   At Lake Tahoe in Northern California, elevation 6,200' above sea level, Tahoe Yacht Club hosts various one-design/PHRF regattas each year - come whatever weather. Pine trees and snow capped mountains surround this beautiful venue. Photos by Steve Lapkin.  When given the instructions on where to take a leak, John forgot the part about aiming downwind.  When crewing for a skipper that hikes hard, the crew needs to hike harder...which isn't happening in this photo.  The Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Lisbon, Portugal offered such backdrops as the Padrao dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries), a monument along the Tagus River estuary. Completed in 1960, the monument celebrates the Portuguese Age of Discovery (or Age of Exploration) during the 15th and 16th centuries. Photo by Chris Cameron / ETNZ.
