The 44th edition of the Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofia Mapfre for Olympic classes, to be held in waters of the Bay of Palma (Spain) in Mallorca from 30th March to 6th April 2013, will host the first European stop of the new ISAF Sailing World Cup.




Thinus Groenewald’s Royal Cape One-Design 'Reaction' was the overall winner of The Governor’s Cup Race, a downwind 1,700 nautical mile ocean race organised by False Bay Yacht Club. First held in 1996, the bi-annual event starts from Simon’s Town, South Africa and finishes in Jamestown, St Helena.
