Won by Vayu 2 in the J80 class. Pickle dishes are so yesterday. A big congrats to the team: Andrew Kerr calling tactics/jib trim, Jahn Tihansky on helm, Glenn Vanheel filling in for Ron Ron Buzil at pit/fore deck for three days, Ron Buzil pit/fore deck and last but not least Denise Ostrander shore support.

As seen at the world famous Candy Store in Newport, RI. Anybody who sends us a photo of themself next to this sign will be in the Photo of the Week too.

Photographer Cory Silken provides us with a computer monitor background for the month of February. Click on wide screen or standard screen for your monitor type. Once the image is open, put your cursur over it, right click to open the drop down menu and indicate you want to 'Set as Background'.

Bavarian helmsman and newcomer in the 5.5m Class Markus Wieser has captured the 2013 World Champion Title in Curaçao last week with his crew composed of German Star sailors Frithjof Kleen and Thomas Auracher. Photo courtesy of Jarrik Bijsterbosch.

Is it awkward to admit we have a crush on Mandy Barker, wife of Emirates Team New Zealand helm Dean Barker? Hope not. Here she christens the team's second AC72 which they hope will help them win the 34th America's Cup. Photo by Chris Cameron / ETNZ.

Crew training onboard Team SCA, which is using PUMA's VO70 to prepare for the 2014-15 Volvo Ocean Race. Vying for a crew position are Annie Lush (GBR), Carolijn Brouwer (NED), Jeanne Gregoire (FRA), Klaartje Zuiderbaan (NED), Liz Wardley (AUS), Sam Davies (GBR) and Stacey Jackson (AUS).

Admit it... short tacking rugged shorelines is what it is all about. Bouy racing in open water is for whimps. Here is Tim Cox’s DK43 Minerva in Oz having that "how deep is it" conversation. Credit.www.sailpix.com.au.

Because we knew you were curious what the racing scene looked like at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. Photos by Guy Nowell.
