McKees maintain lead at Tasar Worlds

Gamagori, Japan (August 3, 2017) – In winds over 20 knots, Jonathan and Libby McKee (USA) continue to stamp their authority on the Tasar World Championship, posting a 5-1-1 on the third day of the competition. After nine races with two discards, they have built a 12 point lead over defending champs Chris Dance and Jeremy Elmslie (AUS).

A layday is scheduled tomorrow for the 97 boats representing five countries (Australia, Great Britain, Japan, Netherlands, and USA). A maximum of 12 races are planned, with the fleet returning to the race course on August 5 and 6 for the final three races.
