Caribbean to host Annual Meeting

Published on September 17th, 2020

The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) has confirmed dates for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Organizers Conference (ROC) as November 13-14, 2020. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and restrictions on travel, the event will be virtual and hosted via Zoom.

As part of the AGM there will be re-election of board members. A nominating committee headed up by Pam Fuller has been appointed and is interested in hearing from members who have an interest in serving on the board. The slate of nominees along with the official notice of AGM will be issued by October 12, 2020.

The Conference Planning Committee is interested in feedback from members about any areas of interest they would like to see included in the AGM or ROC and topics they would like to see discussed or presented.

“This has been a very challenging year and will continue to be so,” said CSA President Alison Sly-Adams. “The AGM and Conference will be a great opportunity to regroup ahead of the season. Our focus remains on how we will deliver a fabulous season of racing while working within the protocols and guidelines issued by our regional governments.”
