Video: Rescue at sea

Older guy, never sailed or owned a boat before, buys a Catalina 25 nine months ago. After taking ASA courses, he invited three friends to join him for his first open ocean sail. About noon he sees a woman in the water two miles offshore and rescues her. The video is his description of the whole thing, including how the training he’d just taken helped him do all the right things (including “training” his crew) of a crew overboard situation to rescue the woman, who’d been in the water about 12 hours.
