Sunfish Worlds finishes under postponement

Lewes, Delaware (October 11, 2013) – The final day of the 2013 Sunfish World Championship was sidelined due to strong winds, making it three consecutive days of postponement for the 74 sailors. The final results were based on the five races completed on Oct. 7 and 8, with defending champion Alexander Zimmerman of Lima, Peru taking the title again. Paul-Jon Patin of Forest Hills, N.Y. and David Mendelblatt of St. Petersburg, Fla. finished tied on points, with Patin breaking the tie to finish second.
