La Rochelle, France (July 11, 2015) – The final day of the J/70 World Championship (July 8-11) ended just as every day had ended, with Julian Fernandez Neckelmann’s Flojito Y Cooperando (MEX) on top of the standings. The only exception is now his team, which included Bill Hardesty, Willem Van Waay, and Erik Brockmann, were now the World Champions.

With two races held today, the top teams posted their worst scores of the series, concluding the day in the order they started. Fernandez won the title by 14 points over Carlo Alberini’s Calvi team (ITA), with defending world champion Tim Healy (USA) 29 points off the lead in third place.
