Moth US Nationals in Key Largo

Published on March 18th, 2016

Key Largo, FL (March 18) – The Moth US Nationals began today with a speedy slalom course without the speed. After a short delay everyone launched and was hopeful for a full day of round-robin slalom racing. But the breeze never completely filled in and sailors only had short bursts of foiling without enough racing to complete a round robin.

With scores from today not counting for Nationals, the competition is planned for March 19-20, with tomorrow’s forecast showing more breeze and sunshine.
