Countdown to High School Nationals

Twenty high school teams will compete in Flying Junior boats at the 2018 ISSA Fleet Racing National Championship. Teams qualified out of the seven district regions throughout the USA, with the competition to be held May 12-13 on Clear Lake in Seabrook, TX.

Amid the field is Point Loma High School (San Diego, CA) which will be going for its seventh title after winning last year at MIT in Cambridge, MA. Here is the 2018 line-up:

Mid Atlantic (3): Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA); Mamaroneck High School (Mamaroneck, NY); Ranney School (Tinton Falls, NJ)
Midwest (4): Grosse Pointe South High School (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI); Minnetonka High School (Minnetonka, MN); New Trier High School (Winnetka, IL); Rocky River High School (Rocky River, OH)
New England (3): Barrington High School (Barrington, RI); Tabor Academy (Marion, MA); The Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT)
North West (2): Olympia High School (Olympia, WA); Orcas High School (Eastsound, WA)
Pacific Coast (4): Corona del Mar High School (Newport Beach, CA); Francis Parker High School (San Diego, CA); Newport Harbor High School (Newport Beach, CA); Point Loma High School (San Diego, CA)
South Atlantic (3): Antilles School (St Thomas, VI); South Fork High School (Stuart, FL); St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Ft. Lauderdale, FL)
South East (1): Clear Falls High School (League City, TX)
