29er US National Championship 2018

Twenty-seven teams from Canada, New Zealand, and USA competed in the 2018 29er US National Championship on July 21-23 in New Bedford, MA. After completing four races on the first day, a storm on day two cancelled racing but moved through to allow for four more races on the final day.

Eric Lyall and Andrew Moreno (CAN) dominated with 5 first place and 2 second place finishes to win overall. Peter Joslin and Scott Mais (USA) were the top finishing all-US team to claim the 29er US Class Association title.

Also recognized were the top all female team of Brooke Shachoy and Jana Laurendeau (USA) and the top Junior team of Galen Richardson and Jake Adair (CAN) – who finished second overall.
