VIDEO: Finn for ever

Published on October 27th, 2018

Since its design by Swede Rickard Sarby in 1949 for the Helsinki 1952 Olympics, the Finn has been in every summer Olympics, making it the longest serving dinghy in the Olympic Regatta. Amidst the more modern equipment now used, the Finn is also the most seaworthy of the fleet, allowing the competition to occur when other Olympic events must be cancelled due to boat-breaking conditions.
