VIDEO: Pushing the speed limit on a wing

Liam Dunkerbeck achieved a top speed of 31 knots based on his GPS data using a wing in Luderitz, Namibia. His average speed of 26.92 knots over a 500-meter distance according to the official speeds measured by the 2021 Luderitz Speed Challenge team, and approved by the World Sailing Speed Record Council, is believed to be a new speed record in wingboarding.
