The Fall Season for College Sailing mostly wrapped up on October 25-26, with the focus now on the Singlehanded Nationals on November 8-9 and Match Race Nationals on November 15-16. Here are some of the prominent college regattas to close the season:
• 84th Professor Erwin Schell Trophy: MIT hosted this conference championship in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with Harvard winning the event.
• MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy: Hosted by Fordham, this conference championship was won by Georgetown University.
• PCCSC Women’s Fall Championship: Stanford hosted and won this conference championship in Redwood City, California.
• SAISA Fall Open and Women’s Fleet Race Championship: Jacksonville hosted for the South Atlantic region, with College of Charleston winning both events.
• SEISA Fall Open and Women’s Fleet Race Champs: Texas A&M at Corpus Christi hosted the racing for the Southeastern Intercollegiate Sailing Association, with Tulane winning both events.
• The Victorian Urn Trophy: Harvard hosted this conference championship with Brown University taking the title.
• War Memorial Regatta: Hosted by Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York, this was another significant conference championship, won by St. Mary’ College of Maryland.
