Callahan twins dominate I420s

Justin and Mitchell Callahan (Outfit Sailing – Miami, FL) dominated the 2020 I420 North American Championship winning the regatta with a massive 29-point lead over 2nd place. They posted an incredible 13 points over 9 races in the tough, 36-boat fleet on Biscayne Bay, January 18-20.

The twin brothers had 6 bullets in the 9-race series which saw widely varied conditions from 20+ knots on Day 1, to light and shifty conditions on Day 3. The twins won races in all conditions.

Vanessa Lahrkamp/Katherine McNamara (American Yacht Club – Rye, NY) sailed a very strong series to finish 2nd, and the top female team, with 42 points.

Lachlain McGranahan/Emery Diemar (Outfit Sailing – Miami, FL) also sailed well, finishing third, with 44 points.
