Strong winds sideline Sunfish Worlds…again

Lewes, Delaware (October 10, 2013) – For the second day in a row, racing at the 2013 Sunfish World Championship was postponed due to strong winds. Five races were completed on Oct. 7 and 8, with Alexander Zimmerman of Lima, Peru, in the lead, but the top three racers are separated by only three points. Paul-Jon Patin of Forest Hills, N.Y., and David Mendelblatt of St. Petersburg, Fla., are tied for second. Racing concludes Friday, though strong winds are forecasted. Current results.
