Flying Scot Wife Husband Championship

Sayville, NY (August 24, 2014) – Held this weekend at Sayville Yacht Club Flying Scot sailors were treated to temperatures in the 70s and the wind steady at 13-15 mph, ideal racing conditions. Five races were completed, with 12 boats, 8 Championship and 4 Challenger, participating. After day 1, John Luard and Toni Gahn lead the Championship Division, Paul Mac Menamin and Patricia Mizzi lead the Challengers. After a short postponement on Day 2, the wind came up and stayed at 10-12. Luard and Gahn won the Championship Division and Mac Menamin and Mizzi won the Challengers. Results.
