Hurricane Nicole Blankets Bermuda

(October 13, 2016; 16:59 EDT) – Hurricane Nicole made a direct hit on Bermuda today as a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds near 115 mph, making it the strongest hurricane to affect the Atlantic archipelago in 13 years. Widespread damage and power outages have been reported but no casualties, with the storm now weakening and moving to the northeast and away from island. Full report – Photos.
