Live Coverage: Extreme Sailing Series, Cardiff

The Extreme Sailing Series™ will bring its unique high-octane stadium-style sailing to Cardiff Bay for the sixth Act of the 2017 season, with racing for seven international teams scheduled on August 25-28 in Cardiff, UK.

Live broadcast video will be available on Sunday August 27 and Monday August 28 with video graphics provided by SAP Sailing Analytics all four days.

The 3 hour live broadcast programme includes fixed onboard cameras delivering the action from the water, shore side cameras, interviews from the race course and graphics delivered by SAP Sailing Analytics. The expert commentary team includes pro sailing commentators Niall Myant and Genny Tulloch.

Background: The Extreme Sailing Series is in its eleventh season, with this year’s eight event tour travelling through Asia, Europe, and Australia. The platform used is the one design foiling GC32 catamaran, with the format highlighting ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public.
