New KiteSail Speed Record Ratified

The World Sailing Speed Record Council has confirmed the establishment of a new World KiteSail Record of 57.97 knots set by Alexandre Caizergues (FRA). The speed was recorded November 13 on a 500 meter course in Salin de Giraud, France. Caizergues also held the previous record of 56.62 knots that he set November 2013.
