New season for Match Race Super League

With the future of the World Match Racing Tour uncertain, the international Match Race Super League enters its second season with a schedule of nearly 20 events focusing on monohull match racing. The 2018 season begins this week in Brazil with Porto Alegre Match Cup and in Switzerland with Match Race Switzerland.

Note: The Grand Prix, the Match Race Super League has no connection to the World Match Racing Tour which was launched in 2000 and has annually been the leading professional match racing series in the sport. However, the tour has been under new ownership since 2015 and has since been wobbling, plagued by scheduling uncertainty and prize money promises.
