Wayzata, MN (June 22, 2019) – Chris Doyle on The Jug 4 1 remains in the lead during day two of the J/22 North American Championship on Lake Minnetonka. While many teams have struggled with the wind shifts and fluctuating wind speed, Doyle strengthened his first-place advantage during today’s four races.

The Jug 4 1 discards a 12, leaving them with net scores of 2, 1, 1, 7, 1, 1 and 2 for 15 points. That’s 21 points better than fellow local boats Fish Grease, helmed by Chad Olness, and Turn Down for What, helmed by Kurt Taken-Holtze. Both boats have moved up to tie with 36 points. Local boat Who’s Driving with Mike Bowers, David Brasch and Uta Moncur are in fourth place with 50 points.

Today started out sunny with lighter breeze but increased to 15 mph. Racing is scheduled through June 23.
