OSTAR and TWOSTAR postponed again

Published on March 29th, 2021

After the Royal Western Yacht Club of England rescheduled its OSTAR and TWOSTAR from 2020 to 2021 due to the COVID-19 virus, the goal now is to run its major transatlantic races, the Original Single-handed Transatlantic Race and the Two-handed Transatlantic Race, again in 2022.

Since 1960, this will be the 16th edition of the OSTAR and the 7th edition of the TWOSTAR. Both races are open to corinthian and professional sailors in boats from 27 to 60 feet. The course will continue to run as before between Plymouth, England and Newport, Rhode Island.
