Kathy Dyer

Kathryn Anne (Kathy) Dyer passed away after a short illness on December 13, 2021 in Hamilton, ONT. She was 66.

Kathy was well-known and respected in the international sailing community for her years of service on racing committees and juries, and was recognized as an International Judge in the racing world. Residing in Hamilton, she was active for decades with the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club and was significant as a mentor and an instructor to many, especially women, following in her footsteps.

Kathy is survived by her sister Nancy (Rudi), stepdaughter Lindsey (Todd), grandchildren Tegan, Owen, Emmett, and Noam, her nephews, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Colin Jacobs, her parents Joe and Marny Dyer, and her stepdaughter Tracey.
