Now in its 18th year, Sperry Top-Sider Charleston Race Week anticipates that the 2013 fleet will see a 15-percent increase over the number of boats that were on hand for the 2012 edition. When racing begins April 19, a fleet of 290 sailboats is expected to be on the water. Among the current entry list are 35 Melges 20s, 22 J/24s, 55 J/70s, 34 Melges 24s, and 39 Viper 640s. – Event website
