CORRECTION: Youth Match Racing Worlds

Liz Baylis, ISAF Match Racing Committee Chair, submitted this information to correct/clarify the information from Scuttlebutt 3824 regarding the Youth Match Racing Worlds in 2014:

“The ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship and the newly approved ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship are separate events. In November 2012 the ISAF Council approved the addition of the ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship to the ISAF family of events. The first event will be held in 2014. The ISAF Match Racing Committee and ISAF Secretariat will begin the bid process for hosting the 2014 ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship shortly with the goal of having the ISAF Council approve the host venue at the November 2013 Annual Conference.”
