Luna Rossa will not race against Emirates Team New Zealand on the 7th of July

San Francisco, CA (July 6, 2013) – Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 confirms that it will not race against Emirates Team New Zealand on the 7^th of July.

This was to be the opening race of the Louis Vuitton Cup. Unless the rules have changed, the Kiwi team will be required to sail the course to gain the winning point.

Luna Rossa is waiting for the International Jury decision on its protest against the measures introduced by the Regatta Director on the 29^th of June 2013 (Regatta Notices 185 and 189 – see our communication of the 2^nd of July 2013).
