America’s Cup: What are the Betting Odds?

Published on July 15th, 2013

Though Las Vegas sports books aren’t taking bets on the America’s Cup races, English betting house William Hill, famous for offering odds on just about anything, definitely is. Each number below represents the amount that you would receive back on a winning bet of one dollar – that is, if sports betting weren’t illegal in California.

Payout for every $1 bet (as of July 1st)
Louis Vuitton Cup Odds:
Team New Zealand: $1.66
Artemis Racing: $2.75
Luna Rossa Challenge: $6.00

America’s Cup Odds:
Oracle Racing: $1.53
Team New Zealand: $3.75
Artemis Racing: $6.00
Luna Rossa Challenge: $11.00

Editor’s note: With all the anguish in the Artemis Racing camp, these odds should give the Swedish team some encouragement. Here are some of the other headlines provided by San Francisco Magazine
