Terhune takes early lead at J/22 Worlds

Published on October 1st, 2013

Newport, RI (October 1, 2013) – The first day of the 2013 J/22 World Championship was notable for light, unstable winds which postponed racing and led to the abandonment of one race. The 71 teams had trouble starting too, with the Z-Flag coming out for both completed races. Despite the conditions, Allan Terhune (USA) with crew Katie Terhune, Kristine Wake, and Marcus Eagan posted a 1-2 to lead the field. Tied for second with 10 points are American skippers Terry Flynn and Benz Faget. – Current results
