Bid on the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation benefit online auction

Published on October 9th, 2013

Sir Ben Ainslie, Iain Percy, Matt Cornwall and Christian Kamp, the same crew that competed in the 2008 Argo Group Gold Cup with Andrew Simpson as the team advisor, has returned to Bermuda under the name of the Ben Ainslie Racing Team (BART), to focus attention on the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation in memory of their late friend and fellow sailor.

Andrew, affectionately known as “Bart” saw the best in everything and was the person that many turned to for guidance. The aim of competing is to honour Andrew’s life and raise funds for the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation, which was established after the highly regarded sailor’s tragic death in San Francisco. www.andrewsimpsonsailing.org
