Light winds launch Hobie North Americans

(October 21, 2013) – The Hobie 16 & Hobie 18 North Americans began on Monday in Galveston, TX. After a long weather delay, one race was completed in very light winds with large waves. Keeping the boat moving through the waves was the challenge of the day. Forty-three Hobie 16s and 12 Hobie 18s are competing. With one race completed Enrique Figueroa/Carla Malatrasi (PUR) lead the Hobie 16 class and Jim & Barbie Doty(USA) lead the Hobie 18 class. Racing continues through Friday. Results
