Inaugural F18 Americas Championship Regatta

Sarasota, FL (October 22, 2013) – The inaugural F18 Americas Championship Regatta began today, with 56 teams completing four races in light to moderate winds. The Americas regatta represents the equivalent of the European F18 championship and is intended to bring the fast growing F18 fleets from North and South America together for world class competition. Todd Riccardi/ Dalton Tebo (USA) top the ranks after day one, posting a 1-2-1-6 to lead by five points over Gunnar Larsen/ Ferdinand van West (NED). Racing concludes October 26.
