Queen’s University wins College Fleet Racing Nationals

Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario placed first in The Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association National Fleet Racing Championships followed by UBC in second and McGill in 3rd. The event was hosted at the Kingston Yacht Club on Oct 19-20 2013.

It was a windy event, blowing from 15-20 for both days, 2 full rotations of the boats were completed for 12 races for both A and B fleet. Peter ‘Soos’ Sousalou and Mac Morrin dominated the crowd in B fleet (Queen’s), where Greg Clunies and Flurry Hogg battled it out in a good performance in A fleet (Queen’s).
