Bitter Cold at College Singlehanded Nationals

Newport, RI (November 9, 2013) – Another cold day in Newport on the second day of the College Sailing/Laser Performance Men’s and Women’s Singlehanded National Championship. Sailors braved brisk temps in the 40’s and a westerly breeze that went W/SW in the afternoon. Breezes were lighter than Friday, ranging between 8 to 16 knots with some slightly higher puffs. Six more races were sailed on W4 courses, totaling 12 so far. Racing concludes on Sunday.
