Eight Bells: Gayle Post

Long time Balboa Yacht Club (Corona Del Mar, CA) member Gayle Post passed away with his loving wife Carol and his daughter Audrey at his side due complications from pneumonia following a stroke several weeks ago. He was 82 (Mar 17, 1931-Nov. 11, 2013).

He was a well known sailor and navigator in the Newport Beach area. His laurels include many Transpacs and Mexico races as navigator as well as being champion on his Rhodes 33′ “Therapy” and sailing internationally his Mull designed 6 meter “Perspicacious”
