Thistle Midwinters East endure tempermental Tampa Bay

St. Petersburg, FL (March 5, 2014) – The third day of the Thistle Midwinters East required patience as light and shifting winds plagued the 34 teams on Tampa Bay. After postponing the start, the first attempt at a race was abandoned, but the restart succeeded in completing the sixth race of the series. By winning the lone race of the day, Greg Griffin with crew Mark Reddaway and Ryanne Gallagher now trail series leader Mike Ingham by four points. Ten races are scheduled with no discard scored.
