California leads High School Doublehanded Championship

San Diego, CA (May 10, 2014) – The High School Doublehanded Championship got underway today, with 20 schools from across the USA competing in Club Flying Juniors in San Diego Bay. With the racing just off the B Street Pier, a southerly breeze offered great spectating for teams and supporters.

After six races for both A and B division, Corona del Mar High School (Newport Beach, CA) held a narrow advantage over in state rivals Newport Harbor High School (Newport Beach, CA) and Point Loma High School (San Diego, CA).

Racing concludes Sunday, May 11.
