Cream rising at Club 420 US National Championship

San Diego, CA (July 16, 2014) – The second day of the Club 420 US National Championship enjoyed full sun and 8-12 knots to allow the 53-boat fleet to complete three races. Locals Max and Ian Brill posted a 12-2-1 to take over the lead after five races, but are just one point ahead of Cassie Obel and Annika Garrett from Marina del Rey, CA. Racing concludes Thursday, and scores could shuffle as the discard race kicks in after race six.

Update: Five races were completed today, and now after seven races in the series, Romain Screve and Jackson Ritter from San Francisco, CA is tied for the lead with Cassie Obel and Annika Garrett.
