Segerblom and D’Eliscu dominate CFJ Nationals

The 2014 Club Flying Junior (CFJ) National Championships were held over this past weekend at Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey, CA. Ten races with one throw-out were completed, the team of Sean Segerblom and Briggs D’Eliscu from Newport Harbor Yacht Club finished on top with 23 points. Finishing second, Chris Weis and Dot Obel earned 37 points. Forty-seven teams participated in the event. The CFJ Class is very active in Southern California with large fleets in San Diego, Newport Beach, LA/LB Harbor, Marina del Rey and Santa Barbara. Smaller fleets are active in the San Francisco area.
