Shark World Championships underway in Toronto

Toronto, ONT (August 25, 2014) – The 2014 Shark World Championships began August 24 at National Yacht Club with a practice race and will continue until Friday the 29th. The day was perfect for sailing, sunny, pretty much cloudless with a nice 8-12 knot wind from the east. 52 boats were on the start line, hailing from Canada, Austria and Germany. The racing began today with three races; John Dakin’s (CAN) Duck Soup and Josh Wiwcharyk’s (CAN) Cap’n Crunch are tied with 19 points atop the leaderboard. Event WebsiteResults
