Changes planned for Bayview Mackinac Race

The 2015 Bell’s Bayview Mackinac Race will start on July 18, with several changes intended to create a better race experience and more competition on the water. Changes include the implementation of a “speed limit”, wherein boats rating faster than 99 seconds per mile will only be able to race on the Cove Island Course. All boats have the option of sailing the Cove Island Course, and boats rating 99 seconds per mile or slower have the option of sailing the Shore Course. Notice of Race – Registration
